Incomplete Grade Resolution

When an incomplete status has been assigned to a student in lieu of a grade, the instructor is responsible for instituting and communicating a plan for its resolution.

Incomplete grades will turn to an "F" 30 days after reports are published unless an alternate plan is communicated to the Registrar's Office.

An “I” (incomplete) grade is used when the instructor is not prepared to give a final grade for the course because of some justifiable delay in the student’s completion of specific coursework. A final grade is submitted to the Registrar's Office by the instructor (using the form below) after the student’s completed work has been graded, provided the work was done within the agreed time frame, as set by the instructor.

In the event that the work is not completed within the agreed timeframe, and no grade is reported 30 days after reports are published, a grade of “F” replaces the “I” on the student’s academic transcript.
